Protects and covers roof edge. Directs run-off into gutters. For new construction and reroofs. Used along gutter line of roof edge. Acts as a starter strip for a true edge to align shingles. The face, with its kickout at the bottom, diverts rain water from the fascia board helping to eliminate rot.
