Generally, softer woods accept stain in various degrees creating an uneven appearance, wood conditioner helps to eliminate this variance. This product can be applied under oil or water-based stains. Allow wood conditioner to dry for a minimum 24 hr before applying water-based stains. Ideal for use on soft woods which are being stained with or adjacent to hardwoods.
